That's really fun and cool! :) I was hoping the sound would also be sped up/down (or change of pitch perhaps would work better) as you moved the hinge faster/slower, so you could do that really slow "tack-tack-tack" sound like when you move a really heavy door on a worn hinge really slow

I'm reminded of the hacks for old ThinkPads that read the accelerometer used to detect drops and park the disk heads; by slapping the machine on either side, you could switch to the next or previous desktop.

iirc there is also a imu in some macbooks to detect a fall and park the hdd heads before the crash? Anyway, always happy to see toys like this!
